Mr. Otto’s continuous and substantial involvement in the practice of condominium and planned development law has earned him the highest level of recognition by The Florida Bar. Less than one percent (1%) of the nearly 119,000 Florida Lawyers have attained this distinction, demonstrating Mr. Otto’s substantial practical experience in condominium and planned development law.
Mr. Otto lectures and speaks on ever-changing Community Association Law, regulation, and issues. He conducts Board of Director certification courses and Property Manager CEU courses. He believes that a knowledgeable Board of Directors leads to more effective leadership and, as a result, a more harmonious community. Mr. Otto regularly attends and participates in seminars and discussions in Community Association Law.
Get to know Charlie:
Charlie is a native Floridian who grew up in Pembroke Pines with his parents and a close-knit family of two sisters and a brother. The family now includes many nieces and nephews. In 2004, Charlie married Debbie Otto, who also manages the firm’s Community Association Practice Area. Together, Charlie and Debbie have raised two daughters and are raising two sons. And they have a granddaughter! Charlie loves to spend time with his family; he enjoys football and reading; and he relaxes by doing yard work. Charlie loves to travel—especially with Debbie—and he and Debbie are self-proclaimed foodies. Charlie also likes to think that he is an espresso martini connoisseur.
